Today, I am FINALLY GOING TO WATCH DOLLHOUSE. It is my only goal. Because it is ridiculous that I haven't seen it yet. The concept reminds me a bit of The Host actually, which is weird considering the previous vampire Whedon/Meyer connection.

After I made the post last night and started watching Panic Room (I'd never seen it before - it was all right.) I remembered what I had meant to talk about : I watched Sybil Saturday night. It was a remake - not the original with Sally Field but pretty good as remakes go. Mama refused to watch it with me because it is sad, and she's seen the other one before and doesn't like sad movies. I really liked it. The main actress did a good job I think. It would be easy to look silly pretending to be so many different people, but she didn't look silly.
It's fascinating/weird/scary that someone's mind can do that to them. It's amazing she didn't become a serial killer or something. Especially considering all the snickering male doctors who said she was "hysterical" and suffering from a "wandering uterus" or whatever. Chauvinist idiots. I think I'm going to read the book.
