I love this song:

I almost passed out on Friday. I've never fainted before, so it was a new experience for me:
Early Friday morning (7ish), I had to stand in one spot for about ten minutes, waiting. While I was waiting I started feeling sick, which aggravated me because I hate feeling sick, but I stood there breathing deeply, waiting for it to pass. It got progressively worse, and I decided I should head toward the bathroom. As I turned to walk away and tell my friend where I was going, I suddenly felt dizzy and things looked sort of fuzzy. Then my ears felt weird like how they feel before they pop, and everything was muffled by this "whoorring" sound. So as I walk toward the door to the hall with the bathroom, I'm thinking that THIS must be what books are talking about when they say things like "blood rang in his ears". I never fully understood before.
Anyway, I had been waiting outside and when I get to the door to the hall it's locked. It shouldn't have been locked because that building opens at 6 AM, but that door frequently gives me a hard time. Because of the locked door, I had to walk around the building and down the stairs to the lower floor. It isn't very far, and I took my rain jacket off while walking which made me a lot cooler, and by the time I got in I felt much better. The lightheadedness and "whoorring" noise had lessened. My reflection kind of scared me though, I was very, very pale - my lips were white. So, naturally, I think, "This must be what vampires look like." *facepalm* Aside from my pallor, I felt fine. The dizziness, nausea and whorring were all completely gone. And I felt totally fine for the rest of the day. Weird.
I don't know what caused it. Low blood sugar? Possibly. Maybe I was standing with my knees locked? That shouldn't have made me feel sick though.

One night last week, I dreamt* Bill O'reilly interviewed JK Rowling.

*Or is it dreamed? I should look that up. Interesting how people say dreamed and dreamt, spilled and spilt, but always slept, never sleeped.

I miss my bed. My bed at home is amazingly comfortable. My bed at school isn't uncomfortable- it has a cheap* mattress pad on it and nice sheets and my pillows are actually better here. It's just not nearly as comfy as my pillow-top at home.

* The next to cheapest one I could find at Walmart. It cost about $9, and it's all right. At the time, I was having to buy a lot of stuff and my inner Scrooge was desperate to cut something. I think I'll spring for the $15 one when I move back in after Christmas.

I watched most of Gone with the Wind on Sunday with Allen because he's never seen it. I spent most of the movie explaining how it differed from the novel- expounding on the characters and such. I think he's going to read the book. (Huzzah! Now if I could convert my roommate to the awesomeness of Buffy...) Talking about the story with someone who's never heard it reminded me how much I love the book. Makes me want to read it again. I saw a copy in the school bookstore the other day with a pretty cover I'd never seen before.

I watched P.S. I Love You this weekend and really liked it. I might read the book. Apparently, it's a lot different from the movie though- it's set entirely in Ireland. The author is very young; she was twenty-two when it was published.

I also watched part of V for Vendetta this weekend on TV. I didn't get to see the end and I was doing other things and there were commercials so I don't feel like I really followed it. All that aside, I thought it was interesting, but the characters got on my nerves. I need to rent it sometime and really watch the whole thing.
Remember, remember the fifth of November....
House tonight!

I've spent entirely too long writing this, so I'm not going to reread it.
