And both were (to be honest) kinda underwhelming, if not downright uninteresting (more TVD than GA though, tbh, and that might have something to do with the fact that the whole TVD episode centred on an infernal plot point that I've hated since day one: that "humanity is the be all and end all of all things. And humans are clearly superior. And everybody wants, nay everybody needs to be one..." [including, apparently, Katherine. Which... whatever

Hot husband. I used to refer to him as Diabetes Dude. I think your epithet is 100x more flattering! Haha! I don't really care either way about his involvement in the show, tbh, but I agree wholeheartedly that killing him off (and using Cristina to do it) was a cheap and unnecessary shot.
I will NEVER not roll my eyes at the way the storylines are meant to deliver some kind of 'message' to the character/s involved (ie. in this episode, paricularly Lexie). I know GA has done it from day dot, but I will never be okay with how blantant they are about it. This is not a new thing!
Um, oh yeah, I agree. That ending? DID NOT UNDERSTAND! What was with all the slow-mo body impacts? Way to OVER-DRAMATISE and CONFUSE! I mean, Meredith has a tiny gash on her forehead. I don't think the slow-mo was necessary at all. It seemed like a cheap tactic so they could have 'cool' promo vision! Then there was the small matter of all the dead/unconscious bodies on the road. For a moment I thought the movie Magnolia had started!! I really don't
