The terminator finale was amazing. and it'd better be a season finale and not a series finale, cause I'd totally kick some FOX network ass.
John goes to the future! where nobody knows who he is! and there's Derek! he's not dead! and Kyle! whose really not dead. (can you imagine is Sarah had gone with them? Her heart would break so many times. Mine would too. But ooohhh, if she realized she wasn't actually in love with him. Ohh. The beauty and the angst.)
And he's in the future. With Kyle and Derek who seem much more important, the new leader's of the resistance perhaps? mhhm. I like where this is going. I really like where this is going. This has got my fan girl so excited. My three most favorite boys of television, all together, in the dirty future, fighting robots. SOOOOO excited.
better be a season three.
EDIT. I just watched the end again. And it's beautiful. When John first sets his eyes on his father for the first time-beautiful. And there's a hint in Kyle's eye, like he knows. He knows that this boy, no, really, now, a man is something to him. And Thomas Dekker just has this face of awe and disbelief and elation, and the storytelling at that moment is just beautiful. This is why in the back of my head I want to write for television, for moments like this, when characters that viewers have loved for years finally get to experience true emotion. And John Conner, who knows that he sends his own father back in time to his death- to finally see his face; it's nothing less than extraordinary.
