How you live is a choice. ..

We choose how we live, in all aspects ts of life. Whether it's a physical place or a mental life, either way, we decide how we live. I always say that life is an adventure, and unwritten...and right now i am writing a new chapter.

Over the last few months I have been fortunate to have a friend who allowed me to stay in his home for a few months, but all good things must eventually come to an end. My friend has finally kicked me out. He'll say that that he didn't kick me out, but all in all, when all is said and done, he didn't want me at his apartment anymore, he wanted his place back, so I moved out.

So where do I live now? I live where ever my 4 wheels will take me...I live in the back seat of my car. Some people would be horrified that I am doing this, but so far after 2 nights it's not so bad....but let's see what I like after a month.

DAYS 1 and 2 were not too bad. On the first night I left work around midnight and then went to a 24 hour Starbucks to work on writing next week's work schedule. I finally left around 4:30am and drove to what I thought looked like a small parkway road in Chicago. When I woke up, I realized that I was just outside the Lincoln Park Zoo. Sadly though, I didn't get to enjoy it because I woke up only an hour before work...so I got up and went to work. When I got to work I realized that my hair wasn't looking the best, pretty oily, but all I could do at the time was use dry shampoo to make it look manageable, although, had I had a real home, I would have taken a shower and washed my hair. But none the less, I got ready the best I could and started work.

Well, I work in a hotel, so there are showers galore...but technically they are not for my use...unless I find myself in my current predicament, without a shower and in need of one. I can get fired for this if anyone were to find out, but in the middle of my shift, I used one of the abundant showers. I had a room in which a guest decided they weren't happy with it after spending hours in it and moved to a new room. This meant that the room had to be cleaned entirely for a new guest, so why not simply use the shower myself before cleaning the room for the new guest???? It's not like I am making the room dirty, it's already "dirty". That's what I did, I quickly took a shower and dried my hair and then cleaned the room. Could I have been caught while doing this? Yes, any minute someone could have walked in and found me buck naked in the shower...but fortunately it worked out for the best and I simply was able to shower and continue on with the day with no one the wiser. After work I went to the 24 house Starbucks again and continued working on the schedule and updating my resume. Around 6AM I left and finally returned to my new temporary home, and decided to locate myself in the same piece of real estate as the first night...In front of the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Day 2 began with waking up in front of the zoo, realizing I have a port -o- potty just outside my new residence and stretching my body awake. Today I was up early enough to enjoy the zoo a bit and did a bit of checking out the primate house. Now it's time to start the work day.
