(no subject)
Hi!
Just thought I'd throw something up here to make myself feel a little better and like I am not a huge posting slacker. Keeping busy with the wedding/moving/finding work stuff. Trying to figure out who will and won't be coming to the wedding *cough cough* (Do not take personal offense, there are about 6 of you that that cough was directed to...if it were just one or 2 I would have embarassingly named names). I have an interview on Thursday for a job at the hospital taking "baby's first picture". It would be nice padding on my resume and it will help to pay off the new baby I am going to be getting soon...no, not a real baby, a Canon Digital Rebel camera. Troy pretty much has me convinced now that I should really go for the whole photography thing and "going for" it involves the best equipment. He and I have been pricing them and figuring out where to get it. I just got done shooting our friend Marc's band and have a few other jobs lined up. Troy is working on a website for me and so who knows. I think it would be funny if I could make a living as a photographer seeing as though Cornell's art staff would all agree I was "least likely to succeed" Oh wait, scratch that, that bald girl who showed the same time I did was. Not at first mind you, she was the golden child! And I remember telling Tony "I told you so" and nothing else has ever felt that good.
Wow, sorry for the rambling. I am off to read the Sunday paper and pack more boxes.
Ohh! I saw Josh Kelly perform last night at Bite of Las Vegas! Better than Ezra and Collective Soul too! And I ate a lot. And then I went out to dinner with Troy (because who am I to turn down a date?) and ate some more. I really doubt that my dress is going to fit next month. Maybe hit the gym should be added to my massive to do list....
