Dragon*con leads to Livejournal

Went to my first big SF convention in Atlanta a couple of weekends ago:  Dragon*con 2007.  I went mostly for the writers' programming track and the Stargate track.  At the Stargate Fan Fiction panel, they said Livejournal was a good place for fan fic, so here I am.  Still trying to get my bearings.  I happen to be at that awkward age:  between the hopelessly computer-illiterate and those who live on the Internet.  I have a very long Stargate fan fic to post.  Maybe I will eventually figure out how to do that.

I got autographed photos of Michael Shanks and Chris Judge at Dragon*con.  They were $30 dollars a pop, but since I'm not usually interested in autographs, I decided to indulge.  Of course, now that I have two of the members of the classic SG-1 team that I happen to be obsessed with, I want all four.  Which would mean getting Richard Dean Anderson's.  Yeah, like that's going to happen.

Dragon*con is famous for all the people who come in costume.  At least a quarter of the crowd was in costume, and some were incredible.  Here are a few pictures.  There are more in my scrapbook.
