So after talking to a few of my friends, I realized that people all have very different reasons of what romance is and what is romantic. So im just kinda curious, what do you all think being romantic means? I don't know if anyone agrees with me on this or what, but i feel like being romantic is little things that people don't really think about. Little things that people just do because they love you. For example, yesterday i had a headache and Jake was ready to come right over with the Advil. I told him id be alright and he was like "are you sure...i dont mind are you sure?"
When i went to visit him over the summer we went out for lunch at this little deli and he kept saying "ashley, do you see anything on the menu that you think youd like to eat?if not we can try somewhere else"
Its the little things, little things like that, showing consideration for someone else even over something that's so small...
those kinds of things that are romantic to me. those are the kinds of things that make me love Jake just a little bit more everyday. And maybe some people dont agree, but thats okay. Im happy and thats all that matters to me.
One year anniversary is TOMORROW--what an amazing year its been=)
