yikes
So I definitely just had the scariest experience of my life. I woke up in a great mood, went to class and got an A on my paper,worked out at Curves and then i went to go get lunch.i ordered a chicken salad sandwich and as im eating it i realize that im covered in hives and i could feel my throat was getting tingly and i realized i was having trouble breathing.I had my epi-pen on me and i used it and the EMS people had to come and check me out and make sure i was okay.It was so embarrassing. As it turns out the seafood salad got mixed in with the chicken salad somehow, and i am extremly allergic to shellfish. I've gotten hives before from reactions but never has it been hard for me to breathe. thats what happens before you go into anaphylactic shock, which kills you if it isnt treated right away.Really, really scary stuff. I cant put into words the way im feeling right now
