return to school and return to drama
Hey readers,
Thought i'd post here to update since I said I wouldn't leave this hanging anymore. well here it is, the awaited update. Keep in mind, it may not be too exciting since not a lot's happened to me.
I returned to school on monday after two weeks of vacation. it honestly didn't feel like two weeks, it went by MUCH too quickly for my taste. oh well, can't complain. I'm thinking I'm going to need a digital recorder to start recording my orchestra classes now, because the pieces we're beginning to work on are for ffestivals, so they're a bit harder to memorize since some of them contain passages with very fast notes on the violin parts. Good thing i still have some savings left. I now have to start applying for financial aid. That should be fun, having to fill out seemingly endless forms asking for mine and my parent's assets and a whole lot of other details. Braille Challenge is coming up once again. This will be the last time I can participate, unless they decide to ad a college age group. I will be going to Los angeles on january 26 for the california competition with a couple other people from San Diego. Wonder if I'll recognize any of the other people there since most of the other california competitors that I knew from year's past have gotten too old to compete. Leo Club is officially gone from braile institute, our advisor ended it over the phone with amy the youth coordinator. But we, being the former members, stil want to have a meeting to kind of just say farewell. Yes, it may sound kind of lame to some of you, but oh well, it'ss something we want to do. We may get it, but we may not. Either way, it's done, no more community service. it's back to scouting the community on our own. This may work out better for me though, i sometimes felt like I wasn't getting too many opportunities to help out in San Diego with leo club.
all right, so those are the interesting events from this week. Now I know you're asking, wheres's the return to drama? well, for those of you who are zoners or who have read my previous posts, you wil know that I was having trouble with Cody's ex-girlfriend a couple months ago. Well about a month ago, she asked me to forgive her for everything that happened, and i did. but now, she's back to the whole thing of trying to turn my friends against me and ranting about me on message boards. Honestly, her attempts won't work, just like they didn't the last time she tried to make me miserable. I could care less about what she has to say, same as before, and she got a taste of what my friends fthink of her from my best friend who is also a zoner. Wonder how long it will take her to realize that I'm not going to break up with Cody. I honestly feel sorry for her current boyfriend. Either he doesn't know about any of this, or he does and he's just taking it because he really cares about her or he himself is really desperate for a girlfriend so he setteled for an immature fifteen-year-old californian (he's in London, can you say long distance?).
well i have said all i need to say for now. Hope everyone has a good saturday or whatever period of time it turns in to. until I post again.
