Yesterday was ALOT of fun. It just passed by toooo quickly!

Chris and I went to that Sam Ash block but we went to this cool store filled with basically saxes and trumpets (qulle coinsidence eh) I needed a new mouthpiece so we went. Haha.. I felt bad making Chris sit there and wait for me to make a decision but he said he didn't mind. The owner was really friendly and said that Chris and I can come back anytime and try out instruments and play on them.

Then it was off to find the Javits Center. We got to 34th street to remeber where we used to volunteer then we walked down that way.. by where Mel said there was a Mrs. Fields around or something like that? Anyway there was a map, and according to Chris' and my understanding we had to just turn left and keep going. Long story short, we walked to like 1st ave the wrong way =P and yeah.. we took the 34 bus to the Javits Center. (I didn't really mind, more time with Chris)

Nextfest was pretty coool. Stuy represented there Mel..
There were soo many things to look at and touch. There were actually a bunch of really awesome things. The most useful tho, were these things called "life straws". Which are straws that filter out bad stuff out of water. Aimed at like 3rd world starving countries. They also had the Einstein robot whose name was actually Alex Hubo. The demonstration was cool, the robot did the robot =P. And the wave.

The best part though, was being with Chris all day =)

Next weekend, lets go to like Clove Lakes/Silver Lakes. Hopefully the weahter will be better.
