internet dating, round one, today. the last time i did internet dating, round one, i got stood up. i know the odds here, people. my mom keeps lecturing me about jack the ripper and i can't tell her that i am so far beyond knowing about jack the ripper right now that i am onto the perils of going out with people who think you are one thing and don't know you're actually the other, too. my date today has a massive internet crush on me, but i'm still not 100% convinced he wants more than a 2d imaginary pen pal. speaking of my mom, she was re-admitted to the ER for chest pain. they thought it was a heart attack, only to find out the next day that it was gall bladder stones. unrelated to her surgery and pre-existing for maybe her whole life. life is funny.
