Happy Post for today :)

(Semagic is still not cooperating with dreamwidth... I have no idea why)

Anyway, Happy post!

SESA time is here again, and I can't stop jumping from joy. After all, it's SESA, and maybe I haven't been writing much this year but the inspiration is still there and I keep taking notes like crazy for all the WIPS I've left unfinished (wait for a surprise tomorrow morning). So as I am getting ready to sign up, I started thinking about all past sesas, the stories I recieved and the stories I wrote.

My first Sesa was the last DWONGA, in 2006. I was very nervous, as it was the first time ever I participated in such a challenge, and then I got to write two pairings I had never written, Brian / Howie (Sesa puts me writing Brian a LOT) with Behind Blue Eyes for Josie and then, in the most crazy experience of co-writing, A mile in someone else's shoes with milosflaca with about 24 hours because they needed a pinch hitter.
That year nopseud wrote Party Like it's 1999 for me. And I've said so many wonderful things about that story, that I would've just repeating myself. I'll just say, it's one of my favorites of ALL time. I just love my sparkly boys in deathly danger from sparkly zombies. The only sad thing is that I lost the email I registered with and unfortunately I lost all my feedback :( That still hurts.

2007 was the first MTYG, and of course, I signed up again all starry eyed because SESA!!! (I get really inspired and happy around sesa time, you might've noticed), and then I got to write my first ever Letterboys, The Mathematician and the Adventurer that is begging for a sequel, and then, pinch hitting again, Captain and Admiral, because I had gotten a bit addicted to the adrenaline rush of writing a pinch hit. That year I got Every Dot com's refreshing for a journal update, by Rachel, a very original genderbender rock!au that hit a lot of my buttons and that still brings a big smile in my face as I read it and get to the last paragraph that is so romantic, I just have to go and read it again.

2008 gave me a thousand problems as I had a convention and a hundred things to do, so I couldn't pinch hit, but even so there was the challenge of writing Brian/Joey which was so trippy that I had a thousand ideas before sitting down to write Love, Seriously. And I got the sci-fi story Bellows Falls by KC that I still think would make a wonderful comic book because it's a very rich universe that begs to be explored and illustrated!

So why I did that recap? Because I can't wait to see what new pairing comes with the assignments, and to see the fics, and yep, it's official, this is my favorite time of the year.

So what are you guys waiting for? Sign up, as the more people sign up, the more fics we'll get under our trees, and join us at Make the Yuletide Gay

(Also, I pimp. I'm moving my fics out of livejournal to my own site. If anyone wants to comment on any of them so I can see that the script for comments work, I would be forever grateful)
