Wow, very creative, very nicely pulled together. This AU is just, askdhfa, very very very amazing.

Favorite scene: Tommy stands in his backyard with a BB gun and he feels bad, but he has to know. He has to know that if you die, you don’t Come To again exactly how you were. He shoots the first bird he sees, and when it hits the ground, he shoots it again. He puts the bird in a box and when he checks back on it ten minutes later, it’s gone. Science proves triumphant.

Aw, that's alright. I see the similarities, too, but I guess that's the great thing about writing-- a hundred people could all be given the same prompt (i.e., reincarnation), and all of them would write something different.

But thanks for coming back and letting me know that you enjoyed my story. I was super hesitant to post it at first, so knowing that you liked it is awesome.
