at first i didn't know too much about louisa, either, but distira talked about her for aaaaages, and so now i'm kind of in love with her. lol i didn't really have much of a say in the matter.
anyways. thanks so much for the comment! i really didn't expect anyone to read this fic, so it really made my day to learn that someone had, haha. :)

all it really does is make her think that even though female athletes can achieve so much in a world where they’re mostly ignored, maybe she can’t, and maybe she won’t ever be able to.
so i really love this, how it's not about the greater issue~ of women's sports, it's about louisa not feeling like she's good enough, and that's just heartbreaking because girl is a straight up baller, y'all. AHEM, but anyway, love.
