Why, when it rains, must it always pour?!
Tyler, Michael and I went to a karaoke bar last night. Long story short there was a group of guys walking around the bar talking shit to everyone, and trying to pick fights. We went for a smoke outside, before leaving, and one of them came out. I think some words were exchanged, then suddenly there was a line of these thugs coming out the door and they surrounded us, what appeared to be their ringleader squared off with me, swung at me, I swung back, then somebody hit me from behind, and while I was stunned I was hit in the face. The next thing I remember i was lying on the pavement curled up while I was surrounded by guys pummeling and stomping on my head. I have no idea what happened to tyler but he has a gash on his head and doesn't remember anything that happened that day. A friend drove us to the ER, and tyler couldn't remember anything I told him for more than 30 seconds, it was scary bad amnesia. I was glad when he woke up later in the morning in the hospital and could remember the things I said to him.
After the gangbeating, several bar patrons came out and told us about how they were trying to pick fights with everyone in the bar. I filed a police report today. One guy who witnessed it from across the street said it looked like there was about 10 guys beating us. We didn't stand a chance. My eye is all black and the side of my face is all swollen. Plus i have small gash on my elbow and several bumps on my head. Uhhg. They prescribed T3's for both me and tyler. And for the next 24-48 hours, we're supposed to have someone watching us so we don't pass out. Also when we sleep, we're supposed to be woken up every 4 hours while sleeping at night to make sure we can give our names, the date and year etc, while sleeping at night.
I'm also not allowed to drink any alcohol, or drive a vehicle for the next little while.
