The Next Chapter
I went for a job interview on Sunday. I got the job. I don't work until tomorrow... er ... today, so I stayed in town for monday to get my first day on the job, a bit of a training day, but I did work all day. Mostly drilling holes in metal, a bit of grinding and bending metal as well. I shall be working for a grain dryer company. My starting wage is 9.50/hr with a raise with review after 2-3 months. Full time, plus overtime most of summer. I'll be living with my cousins, with a rent of about 150 a month (utilities included). Nice eh? I should be able to pay off some debts and save up a bit.
I'm handing in my two weeks today.
Also, I have a follow up doctors appointment on friday.
Me and jon and rob shall get up to so much construction/destruction.
The only downside is I'll get to see Christabel less often :(
Also La Riviere is a valley and is a deadzone for signals. IE: no cell phone works in la riviere. they even have a special tv tower in the town because they can't get regular public tv, so they get several public tv stations plus a movie station and a couple others.
If you want to hang out with me, do it soon. Although I'll probably be working a lot the next 2 weeks. I"m free wednesday and sunday, but that 's it for this week.
