(no subject)
I really need to work on updating this more. If not for others, I like to look back sometimes at what I was doing this time on the previous year.
Ohayocon was fun. Brad and I took my cousin with us for her 1st con experience. I think I'm getting too old and grouchy for these things. I LOVE cosplaying.... but I can't stand it that I can't go to bed at a reasonable hour at the hotel because of all the door slamming all night long (at least until 4 A.M). After some discussion with Brad, I think we are going to try cutting back on anime cons and possiblly start going to gaming and comic cons. I love anime, sure, but I think we are both gamers before anime lovers. Or if it's an anime con, maybe only stick to local ones that we can go for like a day or something.
I may go to ShinbokuCon next month since it's only like a half hour away. ColossalCon is a for sure thing for Saturday only. We are looking to maybe going to Gen Con Indy this summer.
Married life is awesome. I love living with Brad and being on my own. I DO miss my room but only for the largeness of it and also that a lot of my collectables are still in it. There is NOT enough room in the apartment for all of our stuff and I'm waiting until we move into a bigger place to get all my stuff out.
Very good things are happening right now and, not to sound cheezy- I really want to thank God and St. Jude for letting everything work out like it did. I knew if I put my faith in you, things would work out.
