Ohayocon
With all the other things going on in my life, I keep forgetting that Ohayocon is less than 2 months away!
Brad has a bunch of people he knows from school going so I'm sure the weekend will be packed with lots of meet-ups and such.
This will be our only convention for 2009 since we will need the money for wedding stuffs/place to live/etc. I definately will be wearing enough costumes that weekend to last for a year. Here's a preliminary list of definate costumes and possible costumes:
Definate costumes:
* Cammy White (Delta Red version) from "Street Fighter" - I wore this at Otakon and loved it. I need to redo her armbands.
* Re-el Meyer from "Ergo Proxy" - Yea yea yea, I know that I wore her for this past Ohayocon but I love her so much. Everytime I want to say "Nah, I won't wear her", I see a pic from the anime and I'm like "I wanna wear it again!!"
* Hakufu Sonsaku from "Ikki Tousen" aka "Battle Vixens" - I wore her for a while at Otakon and I really didn't like having to walk outside in WINDY weather wearing this. This is gonna be my "relax" costumes when I don't want to wear regular clothes but I don't want to wear something more complex.
Possible costumes:
* Mika Asagi from "Gungrave" - This all depends on whether Brad's friend wants to do a group cosplay of Gungrave. I'm not gonna say that this is definate until his friend actually has this costume completed.
* Robin Sena from "Witch Hunter Robin" - I've had this costume sitting in a drawer for almost 2 years sans her necklace and a petticoat. I'm thinking I want to break it out. And if I don't get her done I'm going to possibly finish.....(look to the next costume)
* Rider from "Fate/Stay Night" - I actually started working on this one a year ago but dropped it because I spent waaay to much time working on (and getting frusterated with) Motoko. She's just missing some glasses, weapons, and the purple parts attached to her costume.
So I may be wearing 5 costumes. Sheesh. I managed 4 for Otakon, I think I can do 5. :)
