(no subject)
Hey kiddies!
I know life is stressful for pretty much everyone right now and of course I'm no exception. Christmas used to be my favorite holiday not too long ago. Now - it has become my least favorite. Blah.
Anywhoooo- Ohayocon is about a month away and I'm very excited about it. :) I'm still pluggin' away on costumes (and by "pluggin' away", it means I'm getting ready to kill something if one more thing goes wrong with my costumes). Seriously, why is it the simplest-looking costumes that prove the absolute worst time for me? Next time I think "Oh, I can do THAT; it doesn't look too bad,", someone smack the shit out of me. On the plus side, I was able to bang out a third costume for the con in like, a day. I'll give more details on costume plans shortly.
Most happily/disappointingly, I found out that BotCon (the annual Transformers convention) is going to be held in Cincinnatti this spring. I say "happily" because I've been on a HUGE HUGE HUGE Transformers kick for a couple months now and when I heard about this con I was DYING to go to the next one. I asked Brad that if it came to Ohio or an equally close location, if we could go. He said 'yes'- but for the "disappointingly" part, it's during the spring, which is very difficult for Brad to get time off work. I'm hoping things work out. I'd really like to go to this one. I hope David Kaye (Megatron and Sesshoumaru!!!omnomnomnom!!!) comes to this one if I'm able to go!
Oh and if you're going to see "Beowulf", make sure you see the 3D version. Otherwise I think it to be a snoozefest. Yes I do.
