Way back in December, I read your story "The Timberlake Effect" and I promised to come back and read your other stories, too, and write some feedback. As I have some days of free time now, I can finally do that. So first of all I read "Story of us", because even if I'm new to the whole popslash thing, I like this pairing the most. Okay, "Story of us": First of all, I loved the idea of Chris' life without 'NSync. I especially loved how you described him in his relations with his sisters. And I love it when Taylor calls him Dad. That just shows how much he cared/cares for his family. I liked the whole "dinner at Kirkpatrick's"-scene up to the moment when Daniel came by. That was just... Don't know... Let's say, I won't be sorry, if he's never heard of again. Howard is a different story. Your way of describing him, made me (kind of) understand why he did some of the things, he did. It's difficult to be out and proud, especially in his situation, but some things you just don't do. You just don't leave a lover with no word at all and then think you still have any right to be jealous. You did a great job with that character. Sometimes I was ready to strangle him through the computer.^_^ I just hope he'll understand, that he's a part of Chris' past now. So, let's come to the two main characters. I love the suspense you create between them. It starts the first time they meet in the Little Cabaret and don't get to talk to each other. You had me so involved in the story, that the tension between them sometimes made me want to yell at them to just do something! And I loved the Justin/Nick-friendship. It was a funny twist. And Lance is just scary sometimes. Or maybe just a good observer? Well, I hope there will soon be a new part. I'll be waiting for it. In the meantime, I'll read some of your other stories. :) Feedback included. So see ya!

Well, I'm so glad you're liking Story of Us, as it was my very first story in popslash (And yes, it's ironic that it still is unfinished, but I'm working on it, I swear) I'm very glad you feel that way towards Howie, since that was exactly my goal. I like him, but what he did, was simply not done. I hope you like where I'm going with him. Part 16 is with beta now, and I've written up to part 18, so I hope they'll be ready soon.
