I've been collecting them for years, and i have the tattered journal (the original cover featuring a display of cats) to prove it.
I'm planning on adding them all as comments to this post, and I'm inviting one and all to leave me a comment (or ten) with their favorite quotes as well. They can be song lyrics, lines from poems, entire poems, personal quotes, celebrity quotes, whatever you like; so long as it means something to you. I also invite you to tell me why it is that it inspires you.
