This damn hurricane....
I couldn't really sleep too much last night.... All I could hear was the wind howling outside my window.... That was freaking me out.
I woke up this morning and saw that there were many branches down in my backyard. Not bad, just not good, I guess. Our neighbors tree is kinda knocked over (in between the two of our houses) and the tree poked through our screen. :-/ Oh well, what can you do? If that's the only damage that we have outta this hurricane, I'd consider ourselves lucky. Our canal is REALLY high, too. I am wondering if it'll get as high as the tree that's right next to our house. I forget which hurricane it was---but the canal came up as high as that tree in our backyard. It was really freaky, but kinda cool. Just kinda shows you how much water these damn hurricanes drop on us.
I have been taking sum really cool footage of the hurricane with my digital camera. It's awesome :) I'll post sum pictures up after the storm is gone.
I just have to say that I am SOOO incredibly bored right now.
There's only so much you can do----eat, sleep, eat, watch the news, eat, watch a movie, eat.... EAT! I swear, I'll gain the freshman 15 this weekend!
Alrighty, well, I am gunna go do something productive... I think :-/
(School better be cancelled on tuesday!! I don't wanna drive up to orlando when they are still getting hit!!)
