Today was a good day, i'd say....
First of all--I went to the Boca mall with my mommy. I got sum really cute clothes from abercrombie & fitch and pac sun. :) I got like 3 or 4 tops and then a sweatshirt/hoodie (from a&f). Then, my mom and I went over to the Ross that is in Boca...and I got sum MORE clothes!! :) More cute shirts, and a really cute cordoroy skirt. Soo adorable! :)
Then, me and my mom went over to All County Music. I wanted to see how much they would give me for both of my flutes. (I think it is about time for me to sell those things...so sad, but it's time). I have an old, beat up marching band flute (armstrong, I think) and then I have a really really nice one---an Emerson flute that is open holed and silver plated. Barely even a scratch on that thing. (I must have played it like TWO times) We bought that one 3 years ago for 700 dollars. It is in really good shape, I'd have to say.
Anyways, so, they gave us an estimate of 300 dollars for BOTH of the flutes. I am like WTF? I could get soo much more then that for the Emerson flute ALONE. At least like 400, or 450. And the other one? Well, maybe like 15 dollars or so, lol. But, it just so happened that we ran into Mrs. Linder....she said that she'd help me out. She was gunna ask some of her students and see if she could sell it for me. :) Even she knew that it was worth MUCH more then that. Hopefully everything will work out in that department. :-/
I talked to my room mate for the fall. Her name is Stephaine. She's from Largo, FL (which is in the St. Petersberg area). We talked on the phone for like 45 mins! She seemed really nice, and we had some stuff in common (we are both italian, we both did gymnastics, etc). I can't wait to meet her in a few weeks! :)
But, Deniz, I am still gunna miss having you as a roomie!!! :(
Alrighty, I am gunna go finish these cookies that I just made! :P YUM!! Soo warm, soo juicy....YUM!
