Oh my luuvy...ohmyword...I was reading along so happily and enjoying your story so much and then, now, I'm all a'tears, so very very sweet this is better than marriage or babies sweet...

Oh, my! Surely not as good as all that! Though, admittedly, I've little experience with either marriage or babies, I'm deeply grateful for the heartfelt sentiment (and the tears!). They're very much appreciated! :-)

someone who listens with their heart and knows the secret treasures, knows value beyond thinking and shares such with you.

I'll tell you, my heart broke along with Elizabeth's when Weatherby died in AWE, because it was not very long after my own father had passed away, so I could empathise with what the character was going through, at that point and after: the circumstances may have been different, but I'd been right where she was. You cope as best you can: soldier through the grief--just keep busy, focus on other things, and not think about your loss (or, in Elizabeth's case, losses), because it's the only thing you can do to keep going. But eventually there comes that "alone moment" when it all catches up with you, and you are forced to deal with loss and change, face the fact that your life has just gone through this quantum shift and things will never, ever be the same as before, and figure out where you are, and where you go from there. That's exactly where Elizabeth is, here.

Oh my dearest luuvy... I'm going back and finish your tale now, tears have subsided 'nough to do so. More later, this is delightful.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so happy you were moved by this fic! :-)
