An awesome end to a much-needed 4 day weekend!!!
Monday, July 18th--
Lazy day spent with my son at my parent's (where I am currently living)...Played and watched t.v. then a few movies: Spongebob Squarepants Movie, Thomas the Tank Engine, The Brave Little Toaster and then at about 4 p.m. put on my favorite, Titanic. I cried like a baby, like always. Us women need that once in a while, huh? Ya. I do. So, it was my dad, my son & myself all day.
Today, Tuesday, July 19th--
HOT...!!! Can you say S-A-U-N-A for the weather today. Long Island is not usually like this...from what I recall. Unbelievable. My dad, my son & myself left early in a.m. to go to Home Depot for a.c. filters, to Wal-Mart for a new bike for my son (which was not planned, my dad just said to look)-we didn't find the right one. He did get a very cool baseball cap with Batman logo & flames....sooo cool. Also, he chose a Hummer--the one with a LIFT KIT (cute!) We proceeded to get what we went there for...plastic storage bins (2) for son's toys. Left there and went to eat lunch at Burger King :) Me and my son's favorite!! Off to K-Mart to see more bikes and pick up a different set of plastic storage bins (the 3-drawer one with wheels) again, for my son's toys. He has SOOOO MANY toys accumulated....!!! LOL We picked up a Chopper/Bike that looks & sounds just like a real motorcycle!!! We get home about 2:30 p.m. and my dad put the bike together. Went with son to walk while he rode it. OMG, it was like 110 degrees in the SHADE!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't stand it...decided to go back home. Then got dressed to go in pool before the rains came. Supposed to be getting some T-Storms this evening. It is now 5 p.m. we got in from pool. Nice swim. Good exercise for today for me :)
Ohhhhhh, one last thing.....I PASSED MY URINE TEST!!!!!! YAY----WOOOOO HOOOOO---START TOMORROW!! YIPPEE!
I am soooooo excited....Hey gotta run & finish what I had to do with personal paperwork & my address book. Talk to you later.
