Have you ever had one of those days that started out so well, other than getting up way too early, only to nosedive in the most heinous fashion? That is what mine has done today. My washing machine decided to die today. With my laundry floating in soapy water. LOL! Now, before you turn green with envy, let me say that draining the machine by hand is even more fun than fishing out soaking wet soapy clothes. *sigh* Living upstairs in the apartment building has lost it's luster, let me tell you. Anyway, with machine mostly drained (I'm not sure how to drain the fabric softener) I have begun the process of fixing it. I believe I have ascertained the issue and am waiting for help. All I have to do is flip the stupid machine over and start taking it apart. So I suppose I will have to get up to do laundry again tomorrow, since I have to go to work in a few hours. Jealous yet? *nodding* Thought so. Hopefully, one of my friends will let me use their laundry facilities while they're at work tomorrow, so I don't have to schlep down to the local laundry mat. The last time I went there, I turned my back on my laundry for maybe two minutes (to fetch more quarters from the car) and came back to find it had been ejected from the dryer and someone had hijacked my machine. Rude. Just when I had adjusted to the fact that my freezer is never going to work properly, this happens. Yes, my freezer is still freezing up. LOL! But it's all good. Right? *sigh* Yeah, I thought not. Anyway, I must away to check and see if my soapy laundry is dry yet. Later.
