It's 5 o'clock somewhere...
I'm 21!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ok so the reality of it is that I've been 21 for almost a week not and it is not that big of a deal. Drinking was never like forbidden in my house, so it's not like I now have this overwhelming urge to go out and party and drink just because I can. In fact, since last Thursday (which was my birthday for all you slowpokes out there) I haven't even been carded. The one time I did order a drink was when I went out to dinner with my family, and my mom said something about how it was my 21st birthday and so the waiter guy didn't even bother to check! And I'm not exactly the richest of people right now, mostly because of my lack of job for the past two years. But the cruise is coming up soon! So I'm trying to save what little money I do have for spending on the cruise, and I'm thinking I'll be doing most of my 21-drinking there. I mean, days of cruising in the middle of the ocean on the way to Bermuda... what else is there to be besides lay out next to the pool, soak up the sun, and sip on frozen cocktails? Nothing... exactly my point.
And now, I have to go get dressed so that I can be a functional human being today.
