Babies concerts and parties Oh my!
Visited an old friend the other day. It was fun to catch up. Went to the mall and had lunch and shopped around for baby clothes! :o I feel so old everyone I went to high school with is having babies and/or getting married. Im so out of the loop. Oy! Yesterday Molly mom and I went to a velvet revolver show. Very fun. Hoobastank opened so mom was excited about that one. Derek won free tickets on a radio station and he ended up not being able to go, so he gave the tix to us. :) Awesome guy. Mom drove there which was a nice break for me and we got only a little lost thanks to a lasy in the hamburger place who gave lovely directions :/ lol When we got there we had a tailgate party full with tuna sandwhiches and cookies :)

Up with all these guys!!! Yikes but I sat down next to mom and molly. I heard nasty ass pig old men talk about girls that were gonna give them blow jobs. eww then one of them spilt beer all down my back....nice! I was safe in my "seat" until velvet revolver came on and the seats filled up. The lights had just dimmed and i basically just shared a space with molly. We were standing the whole time so it didnt really matter. We tried to get some good pics and some of them turned out pretty damn good.
So we sat and enjoyed the concert and after we went down to the pit area and tried to score some piks but they had all been gobbled up...darn woulda been cool. And oh the story behind this blurry crappy picture...
It was supposed to have the bright lit up velvet revolver sign behind us but by the time we got this picture taken they had already taken it down :/ We walk down there and I want all three of us in the picture. Cuz hello thats who went all 3 of us. So i ask a security guard whos justs standing there if hell take it. So he grabs the camera and i yell at him that its upside down and he keeps yelling im left handed just turn the picture around when you get it. I was like whatever old man just take the picture. So later molly tells me that the guy only had one working hand...so i might have offended him...oh well Needless to say the picture was off the freaking floor and blurred at that!!! So moms just like let me take it and i insist on asking another security guard. Hes younger and i figure he knows how to work a camera so we stand in front of the lit up sign and he was an ass and he clicks it and kind of shrugs his shoulders...he never even clicked the button! so no picture...then the big head honcho guard starts screaming at us to leave the pit! So...mom just ended up taking the picture with her unsteady hand lol and the sign had already been taken down. I was sooooo pissed at those security guards! grrr The ride home seemed shorter as i always does but we didnt get home till like one! Fun trip though. In a couple of weeks molly and i are going to COACHELLA!!! Yesss Coldplay, Keane, Jem, Bright Eyes, Weezer, NIN and soo many more! Damn its gonna be awesome. Were going both days and we Scored! on ticket prices! Its my bday present from molly so actually its free to me. Were actually going to be camping there and its gonna be like a total wodstock thing. I soo excited! It would have been better if Derek could have gone with us because it will probably be dangerous, but...were tough girls. We watch ultimate fighter. ;)
