Hello to all!! What has it been...a month? A month and 2 days? Maybe 8?
I didn't really have anything exciting happen to me..which is why I did not update. Buuut, I went to Canadia. Hoo ray!!
Seriously, I want to live there. Everyone is just...cool? Or something? YES. And plus they have Harvey's, which is the best fast food place IN the world. I had it twice while I was up there, and I was only up there for like, 2 days. Haha.
I was up there to help my Grandma move with my Mom. My Grandma claims that the apartment was "full of old people" (hehe, she is great), so we moved her into a nice townhouse. It really is an awesome house. What fun we had when driving. I don't even remember what we talked about, but we laughed a lot.
My cousin Kyle. Is. The Funniest. Oh man. He's 5 and a half years old, and he's hilarious. His new word is "Cah-razy"..but the way he says it, is like in this tiny voice, and he squeaks when he says it...and oh boy. I went with my Aunt Jenn to go pick him up from his Grandma's (not my Grandma's) house. And we picked him up and we were driving him back, and there was this gate but the side of the road...the kind that the road construction people would close if they are doing...construction. Haha. But anyway, so Kyle was like "Maaummy...why is there a gate on the side of the road...das cah-razy". My Aunt and I could not stop laughing. It was so funny.
I played checkers with Kyle, and he kept making up his own rules (I guess I did that too, because everyone kept saying that). But, so I was winning, and he took my piece and jumpes one of my pieces. So he jumped me with my own piece. And then he took both of them. It was sad. And then I did it to him but he said I couldn't do that. And then I was winning again. So he threw his checker across the board and took all of my checkers. And I told Liz this. And she laughed at me because I lost to a small child. I will win next time, no worries.
My Mom and I truly had a Dane Cook moment. It was lunch time and we were getting lunch for everybody at the new house, and we went to Tim Hortons (or Horny Tim's...my Mom used to call it that, haha). We got a few sandwiches for my Aunt Marilyn and Aunt Jenn, and I got an Ice Cap. I kept telling my Mom that "I NEEEED the caffine, gotta go...GOTTA GO!" and my Mom wanted me to drink her Pepsi too to see what would happen...like to see how hyper I would get. So the drive back we were acting all Dane Cookish when he was "hopped up on the Q" (He sniffed NesQuick when he was a small boy, and it was just really funny...in fact go buy Dane Cook). We were like "Are those the movers!? Where is that chair going? Gotta move the grandma in!! WHERE IS THAT CHAIR GOING!? Give it to me!! I KNOW my car is in the way, I will move it Grandma. JUST GIVE ME THE FREAKIN' CHAIR!!" It was hilarious. And we actually saw movers when we pulled up and we rolled down the window to talk to my Aunt Jenn, and we were like "Are those the movers?!?!?" and she was like "No, they are for the other house" and both my Mom was like "DAMNIT!!" still in her Dane Cook mode. I nearly fell on the ground laughing.
The movers ended up being like 3 hours late, so I was like laying on the ground in the loft for a while, just laying there...looking down at the living room. And my Aunt Jenn would say something funny, and I would laugh, and my Aunt would laugh at me for laughing. I don't know, it was just funny.
At one point during the whole moving thing...my hair was wet beacuse I had just taken a shower. My hangy-things in front of my face were all curly and all the rest of my hair was up in this really high bun...and I felt like the rest of my hair was just cut short and I had these long pieces in front. I felt like those rico suave guys. With the greasy hair and stuff. So I quickly fixed my hair so I did not remind myself of a rico suave guy. I don't know, maybe I was just tired.
I got Kyle hooked on Spoons in his early years. Haha, YES.
I stayed at my Aunt Marilyn's house with my cousin John who is 18, the first night we were there. John and I were hanging out for a while. He made me some eggs in the morning...this boy has so many ways to eat eggs, it's crazy. So I tried a few, they were ok. He told me how his teacher would let him play his music in her stereo, as long as it wasn't like heavy metal, or anything like that. So John brought in his music (he likes Ska and Reggae...did I spell that right? Hopefully?), but he progressively made it more and more metal. Until it was just..totally metal. But she didn't notice. And he was really proud of that...and then he did an impression of her, but it was just really funny.
John being his teacher: John, is this your weird music?
John: Yes.
John Being his teacher: Hoo-haa-hoo..John you crazy boy.
It just made me laugh a lot. I noticed that we both go crazy when our dogs freak out for no reason. Rusty (their dog) was like following John every where he went and he's like "ARGH. RUSTY. Stop. My god. I'm sorry Sara, I get bugged when he freaks out for now reason. RUSTY!! STOP FOLLOWING ME INTO THE BATHROOM!!" and I was like "Me too!". It was a bonding moment.
But that is it for my Canada stories, I can't really think of anything else that happened. Oh, Liz and I had a few pleasant conversations on my cell phone. Including one about the smell of her hair. It was a crazy story.
When Liz came back from up north, we had some funny covnersations. My gosh. I don't remember ever laughing that hard at an online conversation. We drew pictures and stuff too. I think Andrew Chester thinks I'm crazy. I showed him our picture. Hahahaha. Haha.
As you can see I have a new layout thanks to Reeeeeeee. It's not totally finished yet because we still want to add in a little color beacuse it looks too white. So that will be done. Soon. Yes.
My Dad's band his been playing again!! Which makes me smile. I still have yet to go to one of their shows. But I will, and if you want to come, just ask. They are the greastestest with the extra s. Which just means they are awesome.
Well, that's all I can think of right now...so if I think of more, I will for sure add it in later on.
I will talk to you all later!!
Adieu!!
P.S. I have to say that the song I am listening to right now is one of the funniest songs ever. I swear. It just is.
