Lynda:  Blimey, I've never seen it for real, not from orbit. Planet Earth!

The Doctor:  .... What's happenned to it?

Lynda: It's always looked like that, ever since I was born. See there? The Great Atlantic Smog Storm, that's been oing or twenty years. We get newsflashes, telling us when it's safe to breathe outside

The Doctor: So they just sit there. Half the world too fat, half the world too thin, and you lot just watch telly

Lynda: Ten thousand channels, all beaming down from here

The Doctor: The Human Race! Midless sheep, being fed a diet of...  But it's all gone wrong! I mean, history's gone wrog. Again! This should be the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire. I don't understand. When I was here last time I put things right

Lynda: No but that's when it first went wrong. A hundred years ago, like you said. The news channels, they all shut down overnight

The Doctor: But that was me, I did that

Lynda: There was nothing left in their place. No information. Whole planet just froze - the government, the economy, they colapsed. That was the start of it; one hundred years of hell.
