This is the first normal weekend that
sttimothy and I have had in about a month, between all the travel and both of us being laid up. I'm goign to get some laundry going, and then I think tackling the desk is in order. That leads to getting investments in order, something long overdue.
So, I seem to have made several new year's resolutions this year. This is normally something I studiously avoid, but there are changes I'd like to make, so why not.
- In bed by 10 p.m., particularly on school nights. I really need to get a more consistent schedule going and I do not like all the late nights. Even though I'm a night owl, it isn't helping me have the life I want. If I had a different work-lifestyle, it would be different, but I don't.
- More activity. I don't seem to be willing to make big changes in my diet right now, so activity is answer #1.
- Take care of what needs taking care of. Meaning everyday household/personal responsibilities. Associated with this is:
- Act now and quit procrastinating so much.
All of these are pretty much life-long struggles, so it may be hard to tackle all at once. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
