Ronald Weasley is no fool. Or at least he's not as dumb as everyone makes him out to be. Sure he hates schoolwork, slacks off, sleeps in class, copies Hermione's notes for everything, and mocks the teachers he hates. He's no bookworm genius, and he's no famous boy wizard who survives on amazing instincts. No, he'll leave that to his two best friends.
He doesn't really know what he is. He's just Ron. Harry and Hermione, however, are just too interesting, and their tall, gangly, ginger-haired best friend has his far-fetched theories about them. Oh, yes, Ron just knows that they take little rendevous to snog in broom closets, heck, they probably even do it in Snape's potion ingredient closet.
He just didn't realize how right he actually was until he walked in on them in the boy's dormitory during dinner one day. Needless to say, Ron's ears were as bright red as his hair, and he turned on his heel as fast as he could.
