Why must things change?
Once you are content with something
It goes and changes
Right before your eyes
But you can only sit back and watch
Because what you say and do
Won't do anything
Its as if you have no control
Over what goes on right before your eyes
And that hurts
Because you wish things
Could just go back
To the way they used to be
But you have no choice
Except to move forward
And try to forget about your past
As impossible as it may be
I just hope
That the future will be
As amazing
As the past has been
