I have gotten the cold that everyone all over the country has had or has. My papala did go get some vitamin C for me, so I have loaded up on that, and hopefully that will chase this cold away. So far so good though.
When my father went to check on the kittens today, he found the runt of the litter laying on it's side looking like it was close to death. This little guy is a favorite of my mothers, so I have been nursing him back to health all day in hopes he gets better. I don't think he has been getting much milk from his mother, and knowing this we have been feeding him through a dropper everyday. We did think he was getting milk though, so we were not too worried about being out of town for two days. Thankfully he ate plenty today, and he seems to be doing pretty well. I'll keep him in the house tonight with me so that he stays warm, and maybe he will be ready to go back to his mama tomorrow. The other five kittens are big and fat, and look to be close to twice this little guys size. They are little pigs thats for sure. Which is good.
This evening a neighbor and his daughter came by to use the internet to look up horses online, and It was nice to visit with them. The daughter loves to read Christian fiction, so I gave her books to take home with her. It's nice to share my books with people, instead of them just sitting upstairs collecting dust.
My mother is still at bre's house visiting, and the Lord only knows when she will decide to come home. I know my sister and the kids love having her there. I have been wanting to go four-wheeling for a while, so maybe I can do that tomorrow if I feel up to it. My father will have to go with me of course, because I'm not so sure I'm ready to go riding out there in the middle of nowhere alone. It's not really a wise thing for anybody to do anyway. I need to get my riding in before hunting season starts though. Not looking forward to that, but don't have to worry about it much now that we are living down here in the valley.
Ok, I'm off. Sorry for the long boring post. ;-)
Bye for now.
my day,
