Birthdays
My niece Kaylee turned the big five today, and Mr. Aiden will be three on the 19th. They are growing up so fast. Tomorrow I will be driving up to celebrate their birthdays, and I will also be visiting a good friend of mine who had a baby girl last Friday. Its wonderful, and also strange to see good friends having children. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were all in undergrad dreaming about what marriage and starting a family would be like. I know that I am where I'm supposed to be in life, but sometime it feels like I'm a little behind the rest of them. But, to me my life is pretty exciting now days and I see the Lord directing me clearly toward an opportunity that could open so many doors. It's exciting to look forward to the future, but we also must live life one day at a time. My goal for today and the next few days is to type up my testimony, fill out an application for a six month missions work opportunity, and prepare for a missions trip I'll be taking to Mexico, leaving next Friday. I also have plenty of school work too, so this coming week will be mighty busy.
