Mitchel and Kristen's wedding
okay so I'm back....
Mitchel and Kristen's wedding was awesome!!
thought i would go into FULL detail of what happened.....
we got there on friday & me & dee stayed @ uncle dave & aunt susans house so we got our cousins room & everyone else stayed with grandmommy and grandaddy. so we get there & have a couple of hours before the rehersal dinner so we just do whatever. The dinner was at 7, so we left @ 6:30 & everything was beautiful & the food was delicous. The groomsmen were sooo cute!! but i'll tell all bout that in a lil bit. i wore my blue & white strapless dress. :) robert (one of the groomsmen) & his girlfriend sat in front of us & got to know him & he's pretty cool. everyone told stories & wished them luck and congradulations & so forth. Kristen gave me a make-up bag & $25 to bath and body works. she's a sweeti! so after the dinner we all went & slept cuz we were REALLY tired. hah me & dee slept til 11 & that is really off for us but it was cool. We had to be out of the shower by 12 so we did that then got ready. I wore my hawaiin dress w/red high heels. Everyone in the wedding party got to the church round 3 & took pictures & played pool & just chilled til 6. I passed out the programs & then the groomsmen escorted them in. hmm Mitch has some cute friends.
The wedding was amazing and I am glad that Kristen in my new aunt.
The reception was at some Museum of Art.....
...the dancefloor was where it happened!!
Caleb (the hottest groomsmen) came up to me & was all like "now i've talked to ur grandad, ur dad, & 2 of ur uncles & when ur 18 then you have to go out on a date with me. i was like oh heck yes!! then i was like well how bout a dance? but we had to wait for a good song...i was talkin to my grandmother later on & caleb came up and was all like now you know i've been talkin to your husband bout your grandaughter yadayadayada. a slow song finally came on & we danced. Robert was like yaw better leave enough room between yaw for the holy ghost. i was like so how did you know i was Mitch's neice? & he goes cuz we were at the rehersal dinner and we were like "Mitch you gotta hook us up with that brunnette in the dress" & mitch was like "man that's my neice!!" we talked a lil more then he was like thank you for the dance & all his friends were like oh yeah! too bad him and everyone else are all like 23, 24.
after that everyone got sparklers and formed like a tunnel....not the usual wedding rice but it was cool. Mitch & Kristen drove off in a limo & they headed to Jackson which was round and hour and half drive. then they were gonna get up & be at the airport @ 5 to leave for JAMAICA!! they get to swim with dolphins, ride horses, scuba dive, eat anything they want. sounds like they got a good honeymoon to me. after they left, everyone else started leavin and Caleb slipped me his match box and it had his # in it. <3 but of course he was like you gotta wait til ur 18.
we all went back to where we were stayin & me & dee talked to susan for a long time then went to bed. got up round 9 & packed then told everyone by then found out Caleb had said "she's worth waiting for." left pretty soon after that & came home. but were leavin soon for clanton to see some fireworks on the water. should be beautiful as always.
anyways, hope everyone's summer is goin good.
preston - we all need to hang out soon.
annie - we need to figure out when to see that movie.
