Grr, daylight savings time, robbing me of my sleep!

Also, some thoughts on house-sitting (which I am doing for the next two months)...

- normally when you move out on your own, you may not have much, but at least you know what you have and where it is. Living in someone else's house affords no such luxuries. You will constantly be running around the house saying "do I even have one? where would I find such a thing?"

- as soon as you let it be known that you live by yourself, many of your friends will start offering to come keep you company. What they are really offering is to come to your house and party because they are excited about the fact that there are no parents there. EVER. Somehow, guys seem to be much more excited about this fact than girls

- It is much easier to go on junk food binges when you buy your own groceries

- you start to realize how much you can (or can't) cook

- garbage day, feeding the fish, watering plants, and having to lower the thermostat when you know you're not gonna be home are things you never considered before someone reminded you that they needed doing

anyhoo, bedtime. Later!

Edit: Oh ya, and you have to get used to the fact that when the phone rings in a house that isn't yours, it ISN'T for you!
