The girl sitting next to me in Phoenix got a white pick directly from Kevin. It said BNL on it and had his signature so that one seems legit.
I didn't see the others up close. For most of the shows, both Ed and Steve seemed to have the white BNL ones. But then in Phx, I saw that Steve had dark ones alternating with the white BNL ones but I figured that Keith was running low on the white ones so he interspersed them with the standard gray ones.
As usual, Steve didn't throw any picks so I didn't see any up close.
Yes, those look right. The white BNL one is the standard non-tour-specific one. I have two of those from Ed. The green and purple ones look like the Ed BLAM one I saw last night. Only brighter colors. :)
If they are, and I have no reason to question this guy with good feedback who has one legit pick (I was never questioning the white one), I must question the band (ie: Keith, or the company that did the picks) for using a poor-style Kevin sig, and having it upside down. It seems a bit odd. Also, it's not dunlop who's been their supplier of picks for quite a while). Also, in two different gagues... a little odd.
So, I do recall "Wedgie" being on the Ed pick last night because my other picks don't have the etched manufacturer, but I didn't get a look at the other side with the signature, so I don't know which way it was mounted.
But, there is other support for this. Ed broke 2 strings last night. I've noticed him breaking quite a few strings this last week. And he commented on it last night and said maybe it was the picks. But he might have also said something about his new guitar too.
