Dad Update
He's doing really well. They moved him out of the ICU and into a regular room this evening. They would have done it earlier, but there were no available rooms. They've taken out all but one of the chest tubes (and the catheter), and he was able to walk up and down the hallway today. His surgeon and cardiologist are really pleased with his recovery. With any luck, he'll be home this weekend.
My sister left this morning. She plans on coming back in two or three weeks, and she'll bring the baby this time. Skylar will probably stay with my sister's in laws, about 45 minutes south of here, but she'll be brought by for visits. It was good to be with my sister again. We went out to dinner and watched movies when we weren't visiting Dad. Its been a long time since we spent some time alone with each other.
