So in this huge whirlwind of a life, I haven't had a chance to update my journal. I keep thinking I am going to and then don't get around to it. Even today I sat down and wrote a whole bunch and then my son promptly hit a button and it was gone

what a great update! I'm so impressed by everything you and your family have accomplished, and I'm glad you are so happy. You've been through a lot so you deserve it. I guess I didn't realize you knew your husband in Kirksville. I thought you met him in Virginia or something...?

Yes, I met Matt at Truman. Funny story actually. He was always a friend of a friend. We ran around with a lot of the same people but never met. For example, he is/was best friends of a guy I dated my freshman year. Then the next year, him and his buddies were the ones that blew up meat on my street on the 4th of July that I had to drive around for 2 weeks. We also worked at Staples together and he kinda dated a friend of mine. At that point I knew him as the dumbass that dyed his hair bright red and the next week shaved it off. Through my friend Christy is how we actually met. We both went to her house for dinner during the summer. And then started to hang out because nobody else was in town. For the next two years it was a lot of fun walking around and saying hi to people we both knew and then following the line of how we both knew them. Come to find out we had just been "missing" each other for 3 years. One of those I would be leaving a party as he would be walking in type of things. I know it sounds like a bad love
