December Fun
I have to say it has been a whirlwind of a time recently. I have really gotten to know my new friend Chelsea since my last post. She is an amazing person and a great friend. I haven't clicked with someone like this since college. I feel amazing to have such a strong friendship with someone again.
She actually had me come with her to her family Christmas party. It was really neat to be accepted like that. Not to mention she has introduced me into her group of friends. They seem to like me ok too. They seem to be a very tight knit group. And her family is great. I actually brought my older 3 to her sister's house last weekend and we had a sleepover. Her sister has two daughters that got along famously with mine. And after they went to bed we got to do some drinking and played some cards. It was really a blast. I know it isn't a big deal as I feel it is, but I'm not used to getting out like that. Most people my age don't wanna hang with me because of the kids and people with kids are usually older than me and don't want to hang out like that anymore.
In other news, I am performing in a Christmas concert tomorrow evening. There is a few extremely professional singers that have formed a choir that I am in. I am only in it because of Matt. I suck. I haven't sang since HS, so I have lost all my training. But I am excited to just stand there with them. Not to mention incredibly nervous.
well, better get to bed.
