And it was a good answer
For you.

But I don't focus like you do
Or analyse
And I don't work that way
Or empathise
With that
Very polished, thoughtful
Answer that you gave.

I couldn't give it.
I don't edit
Thoughtfully.
I hack and tear and rip
For the joy of destruction
And I cry with each burning page
Because it hurts and I hate it.
This is self-destruction to me.

It was a good answer
But far too polished
Far too self-assured
To be of any use to me.
