Today I got the most blatant phishing e-mail ever in my yahoo inbox. I gotta give these idiots some credit for being straightforward, but negative points for creativity. In fact, I even e-mailed them back, telling them to be more creative and informing them that I reported them to yahoo.

Here are some gems from the longest e-mail ever, letting me know that my prize! is overdue. Maybe it's a bowling alley!

subject:
RE:CONTRACT/AWARD WINING PAYMENT UNITED NATION AND USA GOVERNMENT.US$8.3M [I didn't even notice the $8.3 M because the subject was so long it didn't all show up on the page]

Be informed that you are not allowed to correspond with any person or office anymore, You are required to send bellow information for your transfer.

1) YOUR FULL NAME:
2) ADDRESS,CITY,STATE AND COUNTRY.
3) PHONE,FAX AND MOBILE
4) COMPANY NAME(IF ANY) POSITION AND ADDRESS
5) BANK DETAILS,ACCOUNT NO,ROUTING NO,/SWIFT CODE AND BANK ADDRESS.
6) PROFESSION,AGE AND MARITAL STATUS
7) COPY OF YOUR INT'L PASSPORT/DRIVERS LICENSE

--------------------------
So basically, I've been informed that I am no longer allowed to correspond with ANYONE. I think I might abide. And they only ask for enough information to steal my entire identity.

I think I was more intrigued by the fools who claimed my family in South Africa came into an inheritance for which I was due (those people actually data-mined me and customized my scam e-mail with my own last name! My very Austrian/Hungarian last name and not-so-South African last name).

In other news (that I actually want to talk about in here) I came home to notice that some people are coming to check my goddamn fire alarms tomorrow. I don't need this crap 'cause I know the fucking thing works. I set it off w/ my clothing steamer the other night and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It was deafening.

I need to go to sleep but I don't wanna. I'm a little stressed. I'll share the details later.
