I am mostly a Jack/Ianto girl but I do read some well written Jack/10 that respects Ianto.

For me, the only person/thing that Jack REALLY admires is the Doctor. Through and through. He's the one that keeps him humble, and I think their history together is just fantastic. But it'll NEVER happen. I love Jack/Ianto, too, but they don't hold a candle.

I can't think of the Doctor in a sexual way. I can recognise that Jack loves the Doctor (in a non sexual way) but I think he admires other people, also. At least, I think he's learned to.
