Ev'ry so often we long to steal, To the land of what-might-have-been

Went to see Wicked on the 28th of November up in Playhouse Square and had a blast.

The whole theatre was packed with every seat taken. Which was fabulous because they were collecting for Broadway cares/Equality Fights AIDS with donations over 60 dollars gets a signed poster. Didn’t donate that much but I did contribute a couple.

Finally getting the back story to the soundtrack because the musical skirts the book but there are changes.

- Got dirty looks from mom several times for singing/miming along with the actors on stage oops (Popular, Defying Gravity, and No Good Deed being the biggies)

Elphaba
- Started with weak vocals but got better as it progressed
- Totally came into her own on “Defying Gravity”

Glinda
- Character had moments of when I wanted to smack her. But grew as Wicked progressed
Actress
- Played the ditsy blonde well
- Wonderful vocals.

Fiyero
- Decent vocals but wasn’t the strongest.

The Wizard
- was played by Richard Kline of Three’s Company fame
- Not the greatest singer but did a good effort.
- Spent a decent amount on souvenirs - Bought the regular program, Worldwide program, Elphaba hat necklace and a pin.
