why does the username "FredFancier" lead people to assume I am a boy? And what on earth ever happened to people going on Harry Potter forums such as MNI, to discuss Harry Potter?

I recieved a PM that read:
" hey dog wuts up

my sis..,....******** is lonely

im only asking you this will you go out with her??? and if she doesnt like you then thats fine you can breakup and she can find someone new im just asking you once to do this plz even though you dont klnow me!!!

will you do it??? plz???"

There are so many things wrong with this..

1) I'm a girl. I thought by having "FredFancier" as a username people would read it as "I fancy Fred" or whatever...not just look at the 'Fred' part.

2) Oh Good God, its a Harry Potter forum, mostly frequented by teenagers (though there are also quite a few people out of their teens). Either way, its not a dating site!

3) grammer and typos. Need I say more?

4) I haven't even interacted with that person because he/she isn't into debating ships, and I basically only know "shippers"

5) We're teenagers. I have a boyfriend. My profile says I am a female.

I could go on and on but I may as well stop complaining...it was just...upsetting...
*is proud to be a girl, not a guy, and have a boyfriend*
