Pretty Girl
We did it finally!! We got pretty girl in the house and managed to catch her and get that nasty bit of glass jar off of her neck :D:D
For those who missed it, there is this beautiful stray kitty we have been trying to befriend for the last several weeks. she got her head stuck in a glass mason jar but managed to break it off all except the one part that was around her neck like a collar. Today we left our door cracked open and she wandered in. After a few minutes of her going bonkers and trying to climb the walls to get out, she settled down and hide for a couple of hours. We finally got her out of hiding and were able to catch her with my jacket. Jackie held her down while I took my tinsnips to the glass and cut it off of her. You could tell she was grateful though scared silly by it all. Jackie held her for a good 20 minutes afterwards while we talked softly to her and petted her head and neck. We took her back outside and she ran off into the night a very happy kitty I hope :D
Here is the picture I snapped before we took her back outside. Too bad you cant see how beautiful her eyes are in the picture but they are such a gorgeous shade of blue like I have never seen before on a cat.
