(no subject)
oh me oh my this weather is getting to me
it just makes me really tired and not reallyl hungry.
i went to my family reunion on saturday which had NO AC so i kept seeing family members (including my mom) run to their cars and sit in the AC. These reunions have come a long way since i was young being dragged by the parents with everyone not recognizing me or me recognizing them. i came late b/c i had to drop the erik off at the wauconda train station. it was dumpy in that area...who'da thunk! apparently people were asking for me...thats fun. i have some really cool peeps in the family! i made some business connections, my dad's cuz is an engineer in brookfield wisconsin and told me to "hand deliver" my resume in the winter when they start searching for qualified full timers to start in summer! yay. i went to venetian night on sat nite after my reunion. met up with julie, val, joe meier, my bud edward, erik, marc, and judy. it was a grand ole time and the fireworks were amazing. we split up at the end and i ended up goin for drinks/late nite foodage with erik, mark, judy and one of erik and marc's friends. all in all it was a blast
on the drive home i came around a bend where 290 west turns into 355 and saw a flipped vehicle. at 3am i did not wanna see that...there was no ambulance,just a cop car so i assume it was pretty fresh. there were like 5 ccars pulled over to the side most likely b/c they saw it happen. i did not look too hard b/c it just freaked me out...and it made me not able to sleep immediately.
yesterday i went tot he museum of science and industry with erik and marc. we saw the da vinci exhibit. i highly recommend seeing it, quite interesting. i met erik's parents who are hilarious.
now i am at work...typical for me to arrive and have no work to do! i am putting in my "2 weeks" today methinks!
