It has occurred to me...
...that Lockbox (Hyper Mix) might make a good Rock Band track. For those not "in the know" there's an upcoming service whereby independent bands can add their own music to a big happy Rock Band marketplace.
Lockbox is also public domain, so anybody could re-record it for the game without any worries about copyright. It would have to be re-recorded, though, since Rock Band songs have to be split into separate tracks for each instrument, and the masters for Lockbox are probably long gone (and were on tape to begin with, and repeatedly mixed-down to fit more tracks in).
If someone DOES want to re-record it, though, I'd be happy to redo the vocals, and I could probably get Mike White to redo the guitar.
